The Power of Women’s Group Strength Training
I started running women’s lifting classes because I wanted to give women a space to lift weights without feeling out of place or unsure. Over the last few years running these sessions, I’ve watched so many of the ladies who’ve joined build confidence, get stronger, and actually start to enjoy training (well… most parts anyway!).
Some of them started out only just managing to bench the bar. Fast forward to our latest testing week, and they’re now hitting 30kg+ for a 1-rep max!
